I have been an award winning, professional photographer for thirty years. After completing studies at Brooks Institute of Photography, I began my career in Portland, Oregon. Working with, and later becoming a partner of a large advertising studio, I was able to shoot ads for many major accounts. I have shot for Kenworth Trucks, Nike, Jantzen, and Ford to name a few. The studio moved me to Detroit in the late Eighties to pursue more automotive accounts and be closer to some of my larger East Coast clients. Specializing in large sets shot on location, I decided I could live anywhere and service my accounts, as long as there was an airport close. That, and the fact I really missed the West. So I went out on my own. In 1994, I packed up my family and moved to McCall, Idaho. This was quite a culture shock to my boys who had always lived in cities. While still working with my existing clientel, I began shooting weddings to fill in downtime. When I started getting tired of traveling, I began focusing more on my wedding business. Wedding have to be one of the most creative and satisfying events to photograph. The people I 've met, and the emotions I've witnessed, have been incredible.
